The Minister of Communications of the Government of Ireland has announced that Eircom Limited (eir), has formally communicated to the Department that it is withdrawing from the procurement process, due to undisclosed commercial, regulatory and governance issues. The remaining bidder, a consortium led by Enet, has reaffirmed its commitment to the successful conclusion of the NBP process
