The Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) for the development of Greenfield International Airport at Bhogapuram, Vizianagaram District. The project will be delivered through a PPP on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis.
The Government is developing greenfield airports in the State to provide reliable and seamless air connectivity across the State in order to facilitate tourism and hinterland logistics by linking places of industry, tourism and other major areas in the State.
The scope of work will broadly include the designing, financing, construction and development of the air-side, terminal and land-side infrastructure (car parking, retail area and such other activities as defined in the Concession Agreement) for the project and the operation and maintenance thereof in accordance with the Concession Agreement and applicable laws.
