The municipal government of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, has launched tenders for two housing concessions.

The concessions concern the financing, design, project, construction/rehabilitation, conservation and exploitation of housing facilities in Belém, Lumiar, Parque das Nações and São Vicente. The facilities delivered under the concession will be made available to buyers and renters under the affordable housing program.

One concessionaire will be selected to develop the housing in Belém, Lumiar and Parque das Nações, with the facilities planned for São Vicente to be concessioned separately. The estimated total value of the former concession is EUR211.4 million (US$238.9 million), while the São Vicente concession is valued at EUR43.47 million (US$49.12 million).
