The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in Paraguay has announced that it is planning to launch tender notice for the PY01 national route section connecting Cuatro Mojones to Quiindy.
The scope of work involves duplication, operation, and maintenance of the 108 km long PY01 section. The estimated investment value of the project is US$300 million. Currently, the feasibility study is being conducted with cooperation from Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
MOPC expects to launch a prequalifications call in July 2022 and a tender notice for proposals in December 2022.
