The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has sought an experienced Environmental and Social Consultant to support the development of a green program for the phosphate sector in Tunisia.
The IFC has been mandated by the Government of Tunisia to support the preparation and delivery of its green program for the phosphate sector. The program includes:
The study aims to inform IFC and its client about the environmental and social (E&S) issues impacting the project, in line with IFC’s Performance Standards, the World Bank Group (WBG) EHS Guidelines, and Good International Industry Practice (GIIP). This will support the project's development in compliance with these standards. Additionally, the assignment involves conducting a climate assessment to inform IFC and the client of significant climate-related risks.
