The tender process for two road PPP projects in the Magdalena region of Colombia under the Bicentennial Concessions is still ongoing.
The Sabana de Torres- Curumani corridor project includes the construction of 129.3 km of the second road and variants and the improvement of 116.2 km of the existing road. Under the PPP contract, the selected partner will design, build, finance, operate and maintain the road with an estimated contract value of COP3.6 billion (US$9.5 million). The Puerto Salgar - Barrancabermeja corridor project includes the construction of 146.4 km of second road and variants, improvement works on 147.9 km of existing road and rehabilitation of 5.08 km of the road. The selected private partner will design, build, finance, operate and maintain the road project with a contract value of COP3.76 billion (US$9.56 million). The deadline to submit the bid is March 11, 2022. More information can be found here.
