The London Borough of Redbridge has issued a tender notice to appoint a developer to finance, design and build a community hub facility of at least 1,800 square meters to the Authority's requirements (the Hub) on a parcel of the Site in London, UK.
The site, spanning 0.71 hectares, is under the ownership of the Authority. Following the practical completion of the Hub, the Authority plans to establish a 999-year lease agreement with the developer, allowing them to utilize the Hub for a nominal rent. Besides developing the Hub, the successful developer will be required by the Authority to undertake a mixed-use residential development on the same site for its benefit. This requirement is aimed at aiding in the affordability of implementing the Hub, as outlined in a master plan and is subject to obtaining a Satisfactory Planning Permission.
The deadline for submission of applications is March 18, 2024. Additional details regarding this tender can be accessed through our Business Opportunity page here.
