The regional government of Piedmont, Italy has launched a tender notice seeking a private partner for the construction and management concession for the City of Health and Science of Novara.
The project involves the development of a new hospital integrated with university facilities in Novara, located in the north-western Italian region of Piedmont. The hospital will be located on a 324,300 sqm site in the south of the city. It is planned to have five floors, which will house 130,287 sqm of hospital space, a 14,666 sqm university facility, a 13,411 sqm mother and child medical centre, a 12,435 sqm services building and a 1,209 sqm business incubator.
The project will house the new School of Medicine of the University of Eastern Piedmont "Amedeo Avogadro". The complex will accommodate the Medicine School, Department of Health Sciences (DiSS) and Department of Translational Medicine (DiMET) of the University of Eastern Piedmont.
The concession duration will be 252 months (21 years). The estimated value of the project is EUR 585 million (USD 660 million).
The deadline to submit the response is September 15, 2020.
