Watford Borough Council has launched a tender for the design, construction, financing and operation of a new multi-storey car park which will form part of the Watford Riverwell mixed-use regeneration development. The estimated value of the project is GBP100 million (US$130.2 million).
The Watford Riverwell development involves the transformation of 70 acres of former industrial land within Watford borough, located in Hertfordshire, in the south of England. The multi-storey car park will consolidate existing parking facilities at Watford General Hospital, which borders the Northern Development Zone of the Riverwell site.
