Tender launched for US$130 million car park PPP in England

Watford Borough Council has launched a tender for the design, construction, financing and operation of a new multi-storey car park which will form part of the Watford Riverwell mixed-use regeneration development. The estimated value of the project is GBP100 million (US$130.2 million).

The Watford Riverwell development involves the transformation of 70 acres of former industrial land within Watford borough, located in Hertfordshire, in the south of England. The multi-storey car park will consolidate existing parking facilities at Watford General Hospital, which borders the Northern Development Zone of the Riverwell site. 

The length of the PPP contract to be awarded is 30 years. The submission deadline is 8 October 2018. For more information, see the Business Opportunity.
