Tender launched for University of Thessaly student housing project in Volos and Lamia

The University of Thessaly in Greece has launched a tender notice seeking a private developer for student housing and educational facilities project in Volos and Lamia. The project involves the development of modern educations campuses for student housing, educational, and research needs in Volos and Lamia campuses of the University of Thessaly. The project procurement will be done on a design, build, finance, operate, and transfer basis.

The housing complexes will have residencies for local and international students, visiting professors, postgraduate and doctoral students, and young researchers. The educational complexes will house three new departments: Languages ​​and Intercultural Studies, Culture and Creative Industries, and Psychology. Each department will have an amphitheater, 6-7 large classrooms, three laboratories, 20 teacher offices, a secretariat, a graduate room, a conference room, and a canteen.

The deadline to submit the bids is June 18, 2020. The concession period for the project is 30 years. You can find more information about this tender notice on our business opportunity page here.
