The administration of the Tampico National Port System has launched a tender to design, rehabilitate, construct and operate a 40,000 m2 tourism cluster with several amenities near Tampico Port in Tamaulipas state, Mexico.
The aim is to utilize a federal land area of 39,448 square meters within the Port Area of the Port of Tampico for the construction, restoration, and operation of a commercial port facility. This includes commercial premises, boutiques, convenience stores, hotels, museums, exhibition halls, cinema halls, cultural event spaces, project centers, closed space venues for private and public events, restaurant services, and other related commercial activities and services. The lessee may provide these tourist and commercial services directly or indirectly to third parties.
