The Perifereia Kentrikis Makedonias in Greece has issued a tender notice seeking private partners for upgrading the street light network in Central Macedonia. The private partner will be responsible for the design, financing, construction, maintenance, operation and management of the system and infrastructure. 

The private partner will:

• undertake the drafting of all necessary studies, as well as all actions and actions, for the drafting of the documents required to ensure the timely issuance of all licenses and approvals provided for in the existing provisions; and the determination of the lighting class per street, according to international standards
• implement all the work provided in the study studies, for the installation and upgrading of the required infrastructure, the restoration of the damages, concerning the street lighting infrastructures of the said road network, as well as the provision of the services required for the completion and the start of the lighting system
• undertake the supply, installation and operation
• take over the technical management of the lighting system
• responsible for the insurance of all infrastructure, facilities and systems
• finance the project with own and/or loan funds
• transfer the project back to authorities
