Tender launched for social housing PPP in Ghent

The city of Ghent has launched a tender process to select a private partner for the development of a social housing project in Ghent, Belgium. The aim of the project is to expand the supply of social housing for single- and multi-families in the city. 

The city has purchased eight homes, which require renovation and which the authority would like to rent through the social rental office of Ghent (SVK). The selected partner will further shape the project through the design, build, finance, maintain and operate (DBFMO). The consortium will be responsible for the financing of the project and raising any required loan capital.
