The Landesbetrieb Bau und Immobilien Hessen has announced a new tender process for the development of a training site for the IV Riot Police Department in Kassel, Germany.
The PPP project involves the construction of a new building, which will include an indoor shooting range and training area. The existing building in the selected site of BePo Kassel will be demolished. The new building requires an approximately 5000 sqm GFA space, distributed between 3900 sqm indoor shooting range and 670 sqm training area. The private partner will be responsible for the design, build, finance and operation of the facility for a period of 26 years. The contract has a value of EUR15 million (US$16.92 million).
