The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) has launched a tender process for its federal criminal police office PPP project in Germany. It involves the renovation of an existing building at Puschkinallee 52 in Berlin.
The selected private partner will be responsible for the planning, renovation, operation and maintenance of the building and the outdoor facilities. The contract will be awarded for 30 years, including the construction period. The aim of the project is to accommodate around 2,400 BKA jobs on a floor area of 85,000 m2 of which up to 63,000 m2 is for renovation and conversion and the rest 22,000 m2 includes additions and courtyard installations. The building will include, in addition to the office space, laboratories and workshop areas, management centers, a meeting center, archive areas, and a canteen with a kitchen.
