Ministry of the ecological and united transition in France has launched a motorway project connecting Verfeil to Castres. The project includes design, finance, build, operate and maintain a 54 km long motorway infrastructure with 2 x 2 lanes of traffic connecting Verfeil to Castres. The infrastructure will include around 44 km of new development and around 10 km of integration of existing diversions, connecting Verfeil to Castres. The infrastructure will include a non-current structure, the Agout crossing viaduct, exchange devices with the local network as well as connection devices at its ends and additional and complementary connection works (including the Puylaurens bar).
The project will also include a rest area planned at Cambon-lès-Lavaur. The contracting authority reserves the right to request a free-flow toll system.
