Tender launched for marina P3 in Florida

The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA) has launched a RFP in order to attract potential bidders for Las Olas Marina Lease, Management & Development PPP contract.

The winning bidder will be responsible for the design, build, finance, operate and mantain (DBFOM) the Las Olas Marina for the City’s Parks and Recreation Department, Marine Facilities Division. The project's scope encompasses:

  • Expanding the linear footage of the docks.
  • Increasing the depth of marina basin to accommodate mega yachts.
  • Transitioning the facility to become a world-class, innovative marina.

Operated by the City of Fort Lauderdale the Las Olas City Marina is located along east shore of the Intracoastal Waterway just north of the Las Olas drawbridge. It has 60 slips, two small docks as well as a number anchorages set by numbered buoys.

Proposers shall deliver proposals during the City’s normal business hours in a sealed envelope no later than 2:00 pm on August 23, 2016.
