Tender launched for Kent Station extension PPP project in Cork

has launched a tender notice seeking a private partner for the development of Kent Station Through Platform under the Cork Area Commuter Rail (CACR) Project in Ireland.

The selected private partner will be responsible for providing an extension of platform 5 at the southern side track in order to provide 200 meter-long and 6-meter-wide two-sided island platform as well as signaling systems adjustments and replacement of retaining wall. The new platform will be denoted as platform 6 and it will allow travel through Kent Station from Mallow onto Midleton or Cobh eliminating nthe eed for termination.
