The Inter-Ministerial Committee on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) of Greece has launched a tender notice seeking private partner for the development of Havria Dam located in the Ormylia area in the Chalkidiki region, Greece. The structure will be 60m high with 76m foundation and 260m long. The project is expected to supply the water needs of Chalkidiki that are further intensified during dry months. The Dam will collect the surface water from the River Habria in the Ormylia area. It will supply about 55,000 cu.m. per day of water to the Water Treatment Plant.
The procurement will be carried out on design, construction, financing, operation, maintenance, and transfer mode. The concession period for the project is 30 years including 3 years of construction works.
