FNM Group has launched a tender seeking developers for the Gemonio-Cittiglio Milan-Varese-Laveno line public-private partnership (PPP) project in Italy.
The project involves the designing and construction of the Gemonio-Cittiglio Milan-Varese-Laveno line. The criterion for project award is the most cost-effective proposal (technical proposal 70%, economic proposal 30%).
The tender amount resulting from the auction was EUR19.45 million (US$21.43 million) and distributed as follows:
- EUR448,771 (US$494.295) was allocated to design costs;
- EUR19.01 million (US$20.93 million) was designated for the actual construction works, with EUR565.002 (US$622.317) covering safety charges that were not eligible for auction discounts;
- The labor cost estimated by the contracting authority, integrated into the work cost, amounted to EUR3,71 million (US$4.09 million).
