The Municipality of Villeneuve-Loubet, located in south-east France, has launched a tender for the development, operation, and maintenance of the Baie des Anges Marina.
The project includes the financing, design, and implementation of the investment program to maintain and upkeep the terraces, the body of water and equipment making up the marina for an estimated investment of EUR200 million (US$227.28 million).
The selected private partner will make use of the revenue collected from users (provision of posts, port services, usage guarantees, etc.) in the framework of the operation of the public service for a 50-year concession period. The contract for the project is expected to be awarded by the start of 2021.
The submission deadline for the tender is 17 May 2019.
