Infraestruturas de Portugal has announced that the international tender for the first portion of the high-speed rail (HSR) line between Lisbon and Porto is now open in Portugal.
The initial segment of this track will establish a link between Porto and Oiã in the Aveiro district, covering a distance of 70 km. The construction is estimated at EUR 1.95 billion (USD 2.1 billion) and will function as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
