Tender launched for development of Waste treatment plant in Olemps

The Departmental Household Garbage Syndicate of Aveyron (SYDOM) in France has launched a tender of Public service delegation for the creation and operation of a recovery and treatment solution for household and similar waste in town of Olemps, southern France. The tender includes financing, design, land search, execution, operation, maintenance, recovery, and treatment solution of the waste treatment plant for household waste in Olemps.

The capacity of the plant to be developed is 75,200 metric tonne. The scope of work also includes: receive and process on the equipment all waste accepted by the installation, operate the equipment in accordance with the stipulations, transport, valorize and eliminate the various by-products from equipment including ultimate waste, create an educational tour circuit, support all the operating expenses necessary for the operation of the equipment and ensure the marketing of the energy recovery and the by-products of the installation, recruit and manage all the staff necessary for the proper performance of the tasks etc.

Duration of the concession is 25 years.

The deadline to submit the bids for the tender is June 3rd, 2019. The total tender value is EUR 241 million (US$ 271 million).
