Tender launched for development of underground car park in Bucharest

Municipality of Bucharest (PMB) in Romania has issued a tender seeking private developers for the underground car park project. The project involves design, finance, construction and operation of underground car park facility in downtown Bucharest. Bucharest is the capital city of Romania. The underground car park will be developed under Dorobati Square. The parking will have two floors and a capacity of 283 parking space.

The concessionaire will generate revenue from parking charges and additional sources such as advertising and commercial services. The maximum concession period for the project is 49 years including 2 years of construction. The total estimated investment for the project is ROL 582 million (US$ 137.04 million).

The tender submission deadline is June 24, 2019.
