GPMH au Havre in France has launched tender seeking a private partner for construction and operation of a solid bulk, multi-product terminal at Port of Le Havre located south of the Grand Canal du Havre. Grand Canal du Havre is a region located in Northen France. The terminal, with a total surface area of 14 ha, will consist of a base area of 4 ha and a complementary surface of 10 ha.
The concessionaire will have to rehabilitate the real estate facilities and will realize all the infrastructures and superstructures necessary for the operation of the terminal. The concessionaire will operate, at its own risk, assuming the commercial risk and operating risk of the concessioned service, a terminal including a wharf, a barge station along the Grand Canal du Le Havre and associated accessories and the case a site located behind, in return for his right to receive a price for his services from his clients. The concessionaire will have to acquire, from the GPMH, an inseparable set of movable assets including tooling for a total amount of EUR 0.65 million (US$ 0.71 million). He will also be responsible for the repair, maintenance and maintenance of the tools. The estimated value of the concession is EUR 28 million (US$ 30.97 million) excluding VAT, which can be increased to EUR 47 million (US$ 52 million) in the event that the concessionaire has positioned himself on all 14 hectares from the beginning of the contract.
