The city of Chartres in France has launched tender notice inviting private developers for the development of Pole Gare car park. The project includes building, finance and operation of Pôle Gare car park building in the city of Chartres. One of the levels in the building must allow access to the underpass of distribution of SNCF platforms. The parking lot will have a capacity of 1,200 cars.
During the construction phase, the concessionaire will be responsible for soil remediation with landfill. The concessionaire, who is solely responsible for the proper functioning of the service, will be remunerated on the results of the operation and will bear all the expenses related to the execution.
The concession period for the project is 30 years. Estimated investment is EUR 57 million (US$ 64 million). The deadline to submit the response to the notice is November 4, 2019.
