The Medway council in the UK has launched a tender seeking a development partner to work in partnership with the Council to develop the former Civic Centre site at Strood Waterfront, Medway, Kent. The successful bidder will undertake design and construction activities to re-develop the site. The residential-led mixed-use development will take place at the site of the former Civic Centre. The Civic Centre forms part of a new area of regeneration of the Strood Waterfront. The Illustrative Masterplan highlights the potential for over 550 units of residence on the 3 hectares (7.41 acre) area Civic Centre site.
The concession period for the project is 10 years. The deadline to submit the bids is November 19, 2019.
