Tender launched for development of Leopoldo Ortega Hospital in Chile Chico

Architecture Direction division of Ministry of Public Works in Chile has launched tender notice seeking private developers for the construction of  Leopoldo Ortega Hospital in Chile Chico. Chile Chico is a town located in Chilean Patagonia, southern Chile. The hospital site has an area of 4,900 square meters. The scope of work involves building a pavilion, an integral delivery room, 28 boxes, seven beds, an administrative office and a nursery for children of officials working on the premises.

Currently, the inhabitants of Chile Chico, Puerto Guadal and Mallín are treated in a health care center built more than 50 years ago and no longer presents the adequate conditions or the capacity to meet the demand of the inhabitants of that area, so which is necessary to have a new building.

The tender for these works has an allocated budget of CLP 21 billion (USD 26.23 million).

The deadline to submit the bids is January 21, 2020.

The technical and economic openings will be on January 21 and March 2, 2020.
