The city of Regensburg in Germany has issued notice inviting developers for the development of new central depot and archive for the Regensburg city's museums and archives. Regensburg is a Bavarian city located in southeast Germany. The building will have approx. 50 000 m 3 enclosed space on a floor area of approx. 4 000 m 2 and a height of approx. 12.5 m and will be used for different uses. In addition to central depot and archive, the building also contains a functional area for logistical and conservatory treatment as well as the administrations of the municipal museums and the city archives. This 2 partially 3 story building will also have a public area with a reading room and function room. In some areas of the depots, steel platforms are installed as an additional storage level.
The building is designed as a reinforced concrete building with a suspended metal facade and must fulfill high requirements for climatic stability and safety.
The deadline to submit the response to the notice is July 22, 2019.
