The city of Houston in Texas, USA has launched a request for qualifications (RFQ) seeking a private partner to replace the existing Skyway Automated People Mover (APM) System located at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.
The private partner will be responsible for demolition, disposal, design, fabrication, assembly, factory testing, construction, installation, delivery, integration, testing, commissioning, safety certification, demonstration and operations and maintenance of the system. The contractor’s scope of work for the Project will be performed under the Design-Build and Operate-Maintain Agreement between the City and the selected Respondent.
