Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in Paraguay has launched a tender notice seeking a private partner for the pavement of PY13 Capiibary route section.
The section is 33.02 kilometers long and provides connections to several communities of San Pedro and Caaguazú. The project is divided into two Lots, with Lot 1 covering 17.6 km of the section including a 20-meter bridge, and Lot 2 covering 9.3 km of the section as well as a 5.9 km route from Branch 13 to Branch First Line.
The selected private partner will be responsible for construction work such as clearing, cleaning, excavations, embankment, culverts, concrete-lined gutters, cemented granular sub-base, granular base, primer irrigation, league irrigation, asphalt concrete layer of 6 cm, shoulder, fencing, signs, porticos, plastering, among others. The estimated investment amount is PYG124.699 billion (USD17.45 million).
