The City of Hardeeville has launched the tender seeking developer for the Police Department Expansion and Renovation public-private partnership (PPP) Project in the USA.
The selected partner will be responsible for the construction of a new extension of 2380 sq. feet adjacent to the west side of the existing building. The extension will feature a new evidence storage (40'2" by 33'6") and a new multi-purpose garage (40'2" by 25'9"). The new garage will include one new bulletproof and burglary-resistant door, one ventilated interior drug storage area and lockable evidence lockers. The annex will have one 20-foot door and one external steel security door. The project also includes refurbishing the existing garage space, painting and reflooring the patrol office, remodeling and expanding the existing break room, and dividing the existing office into two new private offices. The construction costs are expected to be between US$560,000 and US$700,000.
