Surrey County Council has sought to procure a supplier to design, build, finance and operate (DBFO) an extra care housing provision at 3 sites, Colebrook, Orchard Court and Birchlands providing around 219 affordable units in Surrey County, UK.
The procurement will follow a competitive negotiation procedure to select up to four candidates for initial tenders. The successful bidder will manage the housing upon completion. The council plans to offer a 125-year ground lease and requires rents to be affordable, with 100% nomination rights for eligible individuals. Additional 150-200 units may be added later.
