The Serbian Ministry for Public Investment has issued a tender for the construction of the new University Children's Hospital Tiršova 2 in Belgrade.
The project's main goal is to construct a new university children's hospital with advanced medical infrastructure. It will offer health services to young patients from Serbia in line with EU standards. Additionally, the hospital can cater to the complex pediatric needs of neighbouring countries based on bilateral agreements. The new hospital will replace the existing building, which might be transformed into a pediatric palliative care unit or accommodation for parents. The new building will feature double rooms, creating a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
The Feasibility Study's functional program identifies 7 main units in the facility: Examination and treatment, Patient care, Supply and disposal, Administration, Scientific research and academic part, Technical premises, and Social Services. The ground floor includes 3 units: Central area, Outpatient-polyclinic part, and Emergency reception. On Basement 1, there are intersections of daily and inpatient routes, housing units such as Radiological diagnostics, Endoscopy, Central laboratory with blood bank, Physiatry, Day Surgery, and Department of Genetics and Immunology. Inpatient facilities are available on floors 1 to 4, forming an H-shaped space, unlike the rectangular shape of the other floors.
The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is September 14, 2023. More information about this tender could be found on our Business Opportunity page here.
