Massachusetts Development Finance Agency in the USA has launched a request for proposal (RFP) seeking a private partner for the New Bedford State Pie mixed-use development project. The site has an area of approximately 8 acres and approximately 1,600 LF of wharves (North, East and South) located at the waterside terminus of Union Street in New Bedford.

The authority is interested in developing ideas or concept that aims to maximize the use of the asset, create a local and regional benefit, provide support to maritime industries, advance economic development, and foster asset utilization that will support a diverse and significant workforce. The concepts could include single or multi-tenant end-users, as well as a single or multi-party ownership model.
