The city of Beaumont has launched a request for proposal seeking a private partner to enter into an agreement to collaborate in the creation, financing, design, building, operation, and maintenance of a ubiquitous fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network throughout the City of Beaumont, Alberta, Canada.
The private partner will bring established retail Telecom Service Provider(s) who currently provide triple-play services (Internet, telephone, and television) and other over-the-top and hosted services on a retail basis who will enter into Master Wholesale Service Agreements with the City of Beaumont.
