Tender issued for 1.2 GW Solar & Energy Storage project in Gujarat

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC has issued a tender seeking bidders to supply Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for 1.2 GW solar projects at Khavda RE Power Park in Rann of Kutch, Gujarat, India.

The project will be developed in four blocks of 300 MW each and feature energy storage system of a minimum capacity of 250 kW and 1,200 kWh.

The selected developer will be responsible for:

  • Design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of Energy storage system;
  • Comprehensive Operation & maintenance of BESS for a period of 3 years from the date of commissioning of full Project capacity.
