NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has launched a tender seeking bidders for the 1000 MW ISTS-connected wind energy public-private partnership (PPP) project in Gujarat, India. 

The selected bidder will be responsible for the design, engineering, micro-siting, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, commissioning and proving the guaranteed performance parameters for the installation of the wind farm. 

The bidder should:

• be a developer of grid-connected wind farms with a total installed capacity of 40 MW or more, of which at least one plant must have a capacity of 10 MW or more at one location;
• to implement an industrial project either as a developer or as a general contractor in the field of energy, steel, oil and gas, petrochemicals, fertilizers, cement or any other processing industry in the last 10 years;
• build at least 1 electrical substation with a voltage level of 33 kV or higher;
• be an Indian company registered in India.
