ADIF Alta Velocidad has invited a tender for the Puertollano Station remodelling and Madrid - Sevilla LAV. Track Construction and Electrification Project in Spain. 

The project includes the following works:

• construction of a new platform and a pedestrian tunnel;
• electrification of the tracks;
• installation of new signalling and safety systems; and
• refurbishment of the existing station building.

The benefits of the project include:

• Increased capacity: The new platform will allow the station to handle more trains, which will improve the efficiency of the Madrid-Sevilla LAV line.
• Improved accessibility: The pedestrian tunnel will make it easier for passengers to access the platforms, and the refurbishment of the station building will make it more accessible to people with disabilities.
• Increased safety: The new signalling and safety systems will make the station safer for passengers and employees.
