The Cairo Transport Authority has planned the tender phase for the Heliopolis - New Cairo Tramway PPP project in Egypt.
This project is a proposed public-private partnership (PPP) project to construct a tramway system connecting the Heliopolis and New Cairo districts of Cairo, Egypt. The project is expected to be implemented under a build-operate-transfer (BOT) model, with the private sector partner responsible for financing, designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining the tramway system.
The project is currently in the planning and tendering phase.
