Tender for the development of geothermal plant in Mexico cancelled

The Mexican Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) has canceled the tender in launched earlier this summer for the expansion of Los Humeros geothermal power plant. The project was planned to be implemented on a Public-Private Partnership basis. The expected investment into the project was of more than USD 1.1 billion.
