The city of Fellbach is seeking a housing developer to award the development and construction of the area Kleinfeld III in Fellbach, as well as the construction of a new residential building for the housing and service company Fellbach GmbH (WDF). The goal is to develop a residential area with a social structure suitable for just starting family households.
Located on the south-eastern edge of the city, the Kleinfeld III site has a total area of approximately 7,400 m 2. It will be divided into two as part of the process- Western and Eastern. The Western part of the property, with a size of around 4,300 m 2, will be awarded to the investor for the construction and sale of approximately 40-45 condominiums. At least 30% of the living space needs to be sold as affordable housing. The Eastern part of the property (approximately 3,100 m 2) will be built by the investor and includes 35-40 residential units, which upon completion will be handed over to Fellbach (WDF) company. Fellbach will provide a maximum gross budget of EUR12.2 million (US$14.9 million) for the realization of the residential building.
