The Private investment promotion agency (Proinversión) has announced that tender for Hospital PPPs in Piura and Ancash in Peru attracts interest from companies from Europe, America and Asia.
18 companies paid participation in the tender of the hospital in Nueva Chimbote and 19 companies in the tender of the hospital in Piura. Proinversión has received more than 1000 comments from stakeholders, which can be included in the concession contract after evaluation. Proinversión has decided to modify the schedule to include a second round of queries to the bidding documents and suggestions for the Contract because several interested companies have requested a schedule change in order to have enough time to do so. Schedule changes will also increase the number of stakeholders, which will increase competition and attract more technical and economic proposals.
Both hospital projects are part of PROINVERSIÓN's new portfolio of social infrastructure projects. They involve an investment of SGD998 million (US$759 million).
