The Ministers of Public Works and of Education, Children and Youth of the government of Luxembourg have confirmed that the tender for the expansion of Lycée Technique, a technical high school located in the Bonnevoie area of Luxembourg City, has been cancelled.
The expansion was to be undertaken by a private partner through a design-build-finance-operate (DBFO) contract. An interministerial committee launched a tender last year, with bids due in mid-July.
However, all of the proposals received were over budget.
The Ministers stressed in their announcement that the project itself has not been cancelled, and will be relaunched soon.
