General Directorate of the International Airport of Mexico City in Mexico has announced the tender notice for the development of terminal 3 at Mexico city Internation Airport. The airport will occupy area of 320,635 square meters and will have 17 contact positions for the aircraft.
For the design of the terminal a private partner should consider topographic survey of the area, geophysical studies, georadar, soil mechanics; architectural and engineering development for the building; architectural and engineering development for the design of complementary spaces, as well as BIM models, technical documents for architecture, civil engineering, hydraulic engineering, among other documentation.
Related work for the proejct will include the building of platform with contact positions, taxiways, parking, connection bridges, fuel supply facilities, turbo pipelines and complementary services and buildings.
The authority wishes to start technical studies this year and to allocate MXN 10 million (USD 0.47 million) for the project. The construction is expected to start in the second trimester of 2021.
