The Ministry of Energy & Water (MEW) in Afghanistan has extended the bids deadline for the 40 MW solar tender until October 30, 2019.
The date was moved from the original deadline of October 16, 2019 to accommodate the submission of the Application Forms and the compilation of supporting documents.
The winning bid will be in charge of the design, construction, and commissioning of a 40 MW solar photovoltaic park at the Hisar-e-Shahi Industrial Park of Nangarhar. It will also be responsible for the plant's operation and maintenance.
