Ministry of Shipping, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh issued a notice of time extension for Payra Port bulk terminal tender. Earlier the deadline was February 17, 2020, which is now extended till March 03, 2020.
The project includes the development of a bulk facility with an approximate of 2000 meter jetty that would need to be constructed with other ancillary port facilities including a shipyard. The terminal has to be constructed considering the seagoing vessel of at least a 10-meter draft.
