Tender announced for improvement of Ñu Guasú and Guasú Metropolitano parks in Paraguay

The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), announced the price competition for the reconversion of the Ñu Guasú and Guasú Metropolitano parks, located in the cities of Luque and Asunción, Paraguay.

The tendered project is divided into two components: Component A, involving the preparation of the Executive Project, including all necessary technical documentation for project execution and supervision; and Component B, focused on the actual works, such as expansions, new developments, and park refurbishments. The civil works will include the structure and installations such as electrical, air conditioning, sanitary, and signaling systems, in line with the Terms of Reference and technical specifications. This process also involves obtaining licenses, permits, and adhering to national regulations. Component B is expected to last seven months from the service commencement order, with five months allocated to construction and two months for receptions and adjustments. The initial month will focus on mobilization and preliminary tasks.

The date for submitting proposals from interested companies is set for February 10, 2025, at the FPTI-PY headquarters in Asunción, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Gral. Bruguéz No. 640) or at the headquarters of the Itaipú Hydroelectric Power Plant, in the city of Hernandarias, Alto Paraná, on the same day and time.
