Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau GmbH (DEGES) in Germany has appointed IGS Ingenieure GmbH as technical consultant for the B247 road PPP concession.
The consultant will provide quality monitoring services for the construction works undertaken by project owner Vinci concessions. The scope of works involves monitoring traffic facilities and engineering structures.
The construction works of the project include 24.4 km long two- to four-lane roadway bypassing Mühlhausen, Höngeda, Großengottern/Schönstedt, 31 bridge structures (large bridges, A and Ü structures) as well as other engineering structures including rainwater retention and clarification tanks. The construction period for the project is 45 months.
