The Government of Saudi Arabia has awarded the contract ILF Engineers for provision of technical assistant during implementation of utility services of Amaala mixed-use development concession.

The technical advisory will provide consultation to authority in development of following infrastructure : 

• Renewable energy infrastructure with a capacity of 112MW-142MW;
• Reverse osmosis (RO) desalination plant with a capacity of 143,000 cubic meters a day (cm/d) (first phase will have a capacity of 50,000 cm/d to 69,400 cm/d);
• Sewage treatment plant (STP) with a capacity to treat up to 15,600 cm/d of sewage water (first phase will meet demand of 8,200 cm/d);
• Waste management services with total demand of 96 tonnes a day, with the first phase due to cover 55 tonnes a day;
• District cooling infrastructure to meet a total demand of 72,500 refrigerated tonnes (TR) ( first phase of 40,000 TR).
